The Black Rock Desert Salmon Bureau is a participatory public art project that uses fictional conservation bureaucracy to create a shared mythology around the Desert Ghost Salmon and its missing river.
The installation combines landscape intervention, bridge architecture, light, sound, field research, official documents, performance, public participation, and deadpan institutional storytelling.
