Evidence suggests that the Desert Ghost Salmon may be returning to the Black Rock Desert. The Bureau has initiated an emergency operation to restore its invisible river, protect its suspected spawning grounds, and construct the bridge required by current migration protocols.

The Desert Ghost Salmon is a rare, poorly documented, and possibly imaginary species believed to migrate through a river no longer visible on the surface of the Black Rock Desert.
Recent field observations indicate increased salmon activity despite the ongoing absence of water. In response, the Black Rock Desert Salmon Bureau has designated the site as an emergency habitat restoration zone.
Migration remains active despite the continued absence of water.
